Ditch the Traditional Wedding Trends - Make it your day, your way!

Many of us have seen the industry change in the past three years. The pandemic brought about many changes in every industry, not to mention our personal and social lives.

Let’s take Small Intimate Weddings -

Micro weddings became popular during the pandemic, and this trend won't go anywhere soon. I'm not mad about it. Nothing beats an intimate, smaller-scale celebration for your budget, but the complete experience, warmth, closeness, and heartfelt vibe that oozes from everyone there when it's just you, your love, and a handpicked collection of your nearest and dearest. ALL of which beautifully translates into your photos, too. The intimate feeling also means you're not left wondering if you remembered to thank or take a picture with everyone at the end of the night and enjoy your well-thought-out dinner in front of you.

Personalized Experiences for Small Intimate Weddings

Your story is everything to me, and I am creatively telling your personal story through photos. I wholeheartedly encourage weaving your personality into every inch of your wedding. Creating a complete reflection of your unique personality makes your wedding unique.

From your stationery to food and location, and even interactive elements that make every guest feel like they've just walked into your love bubble, personalizing every part of the experience is a surefire way to make the day feel genuinely like you.

More couples will continue to find hidden gems to get married in, bringing an unconventional edge to their big day.

Whether you're seeking an epic and different backdrop for your wedding photos or want to change the ambiance to something less traditional (like a library, treehouse, Hilltop, or rooftop), feel free to play with the endless options and get creative.

Plan your one-of-a-kind story, personality, and love. Who says you have to do things the same way as everyone else? It's your wedding day, so make it yours. There's no such thing as a traditional timeline or a right or wrong way to do anything on a wedding day. What you include or don't include is entirely a personal preference, with your stamp on it and no one else's. Sara & Rich were fans of Jim Morrison from the Doors and lived out their day down memorabilia lane.

Get in touch if you want a photographer who brings individuality and timeless style to the most unique and creative memories. We can discuss your vision, brainstorm ideas or locations you still need to consider, and find creative ways to elevate your experience. We must vibe. Let's face it: I will intimately capture your moments deliberately and candidly throughout the day; you want to make sure you like me, and I like you.
