MCP’S. Picnic Co - New for 2022!
Oh, this year has been such a rollercoaster for me personally as well as professionally! So…….where to start? without boring you, I have finally walloped with menopause, waking up with hot sweats, insomnia, and headaches every night. I'm not as moody as I thought I would be 'thank goodness. But it has been slowly creeping up on me, and the weight fluctuations are the worse. Then I have been working on my business module, making changes to the infrastructure and services. I have been working on and off on downsizing and focusing on smaller events, weddings and elopements. I have been training some extraordinary young ladies to be part of the MCP team. Having my retirement plan all figured out. NOT, I don't think I will ever put the camera down, not unless my carpel tunnel and tendonitis beat me to the punch.
So what exactly am I adding to my MCP brand? Honestly, nothing no one hasn't heard of before, but like any other company, I strive to make it a little different, make it me, and attract audiences that are relatable to me and make it my own.
I want to offer a service within the wedding industry with my added touches and partnering with other amazing vendors who I love to create a WHOLE experience. In the past, I have teamed up with some awesome friendors and built relationships along the way. Now I know who I want on the team to offer an exclusive one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive package. The package will be a secret for now! BUT I plan to launch MCP’s Picnic Co. in December :). I am working on Styled shoots this month to focus and showcase what I will be offering along with a new website. So much to do, but I am completely enjoying the process!

So who is MCP’s Picnic Co.? and why "PICNIC'S," who doesn't like a picnic? Picnics became popular during the 18th century. A favorite pastime of the aristocracy, they were glorified as purely indoor affairs, held at home or in rented rooms, and were contrasted with the elaborate fêtes champêtres depicted by Antoine Watteau and others. But the OUTDOOR picnic made its claim in the early 20th century. and today’s popularity grows further with the launch of new business modules and offerings within the event industry. With picnics evolving, and the outdoor lifestyle becoming more popular amongst the masses. I want to be a part of this ever-changing evolution of picnics.
I can't begin to tell you how good I feel about embarking on this new venture. The journey alone is stressful but satisfying. Implementing the existing decor and color palettes offered widely and adding a little extra here and there gives us a slight edge and distinction. I will be working with beautiful souls who will assist in the process of creating this wonderful experience I envision.
