Analog + Digital Wedding Photography - I give you the best of both worlds.

In the past, the only way to capture wedding photos was with a film camera, as digital technology still needed to be created. Nowadays, digital photography has taken over and revolutionized the way we capture and view wedding photos. Digital cameras allow us to capture unlimited moments quickly and at a much lower cost. However, personal preference plays a significant role in how we perceive and interpret film and digital photography formats. Despite the many advantages of digital cameras, the style and aesthetic of film photography still appeal to many.

However, let's raise a toast to film photography! It is still challenging, requiring more technical considerations, and can be costly if shots are wasted or framing, lighting, or focus is off. Since digital has become the norm, there is often some hesitation behind having your photos taken with film. We have become so reliant on digital technology that the first thought is usually, "What if you miss THE SHOT?" As a result, moving forward with digital is often seen as the "safer" bet.

Taking a "risk" is scary, especially regarding your wedding day. However, what should you expect from your analog/Film wedding photographer?  Knowledge.

When choosing a photographer for your wedding, finding someone you can trust to do a great job is essential. Whether you opt for a digital or analog/film photographer, you should expect them to be highly skilled and experienced. A great analog wedding photographer will have a clear idea of what the photo will look like before they take it, just like their digital counterparts.

Analog/film photography is a tangible art form requiring more materials than a memory card and computer software. Your photographer will know the best type of film to use and have a trusted photo lab for processing, ensuring you get the best results.

Photography is an art form that takes time and practice to master, just like any other craft. As a wedding photographer, I've spent years honing my skills and perfecting my craft. Recently, I've decided to focus on smaller, more intimate events to give each client the attention they deserve and create a unique experience they'll never forget.

If you're considering adding film to your wedding package, be prepared to pay more. But the extra investment is worth it for the priceless memories and timeless images you'll receive.

Digital photography has become the norm in the wedding industry, but analog or film photography is still valuable. They offer a different type of artistry that some people prefer. When you choose an analog or film wedding photographer, you trust them to capture your special moments uniquely and beautifully. Trust them to create art that you'll cherish for years to come.
